Amazing Foods You Need Today to Detoxify Your Body

We all need an occasional cleansing and detoxifying of our body from time to time.

I love to get a fruit day or a veggie day once in the week. The trick with detoxification is to be prepared, know what you need and what you want.

That is if you want to add one day in the week as me. But that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t include the following products in your daily diet as well.

While I have a detox day, I also try to consume as many foods that help me cleanse and get rid of toxins from my body.

Here are more than enough foods, and you can choose from the list which ones are fit for you.

Artichokes

This healthy veggie is among fan favorites in Italy, and there are several reasons why.

You will often find artichokes instead of mushrooms in pizza around Italy.

Artichokes help with cleansing by boosting the liver function, helping your body purge from toxins as fast as possible.

Artichokes boost the production of bile by the liver, a chemical that breaks down foods.

Asparagus is among the best foods you can get to help with the liver drainage process.

There are not enough words in the English dictionary to explain all the benefits of consuming garlic on a regular basis.

What you need to know is that garlic boosts your immune system, helps with detoxifying your body thanks to sulfur, and helps the liver.

There have been studies that show that garlic is as potent and effective, and even more than antibiotics.

Onions

Garlic and onion, those are the two ingredients you can toss in almost every meal.

There are simply no healthier choices you can find in your kitchen. The best health benefits come from raw onions, but you can also peel them a little.

However, try not to over peel your onions, as they lose their flavonoids.

When it comes to cleansing and liver boosting, onions soak up several heavy metals including cadmium, lead, mercury, arsenic, and tin.

Onions have more polyphenol than carrots, tomatoes, garlic, leeks, and red bell pepper.

Beets

Helping your liver doesn’t even start how beneficial beets are for your health.
