And this plaque can reduce blood flow, or in some instances, block the blood flow altogether, and cause heart attack, high blood pressure, hypertension, and more cardiovascular issues. In other words, healthy arteries result in healthy lifestyle.

Nausea, shortness of breath, chest pain, heart palpitations, dizziness, weakness, and sweating are the most common symptoms of clogged arteries. If you notice any of them, you should start finding ways to cleanse your arteries, before it is too late. Here are five ways how to do that.

Make lifestyle changes

Obviously, being that your lifestyle has led you to clogged arteries, a change is a must. Where to start with these changes? Well, for starters, you can change your cholesterol-rich diet and go for something more nutritious and healthy. And of course, start exercising. Completely get rid of caffeine, cigarettes, and alcohol in your life. Those are the main risks of clogged arteries.

Consume healthy foods

One of the big misconceptions regarding healthy foods is fats. Yes, fats are generally considered bad for your health. But that is just plain wrong. There are good fats, and then there are bad fats. The good fats are the omega-3 fatty acids, and other unsaturated fats that can reduce cholesterol levels. Some of the foods high in good fats are avocado, cheese, dark chocolate, whole eggs, fatty fish, nuts, chia seeds, olive oil, and so on. Try to consume them as much as you can.

Speaking of healthy foods, you should also increase your vitamin intake. The vitamins you need for your heart health are vitamin C and B Vitamins. They keep the arteries flexible, and prevent plaque buildup. Fruits and vegetables are the best sources of vitamin C and B vitamins.

Start juicing

Now we are at the crucial step for cleansing your arteries. Most of us do not like eating whole vegetables or fruits. And that is fine. Even if you consume vegetables, you probably do not get the recommended daily serving you need.

This is where juicing helps. Juicing can help you get enough vitamins from vegetables and fruits, namely vegetables, that we usually do not consume on a regular basis. For example, you are better off with a cup of green tea, than a glass of carbonated beverage. Not to mention, teas are way more hydrating than carbonated drinks.
