Health bloggers, nutritionists, diet experts, they all praise celery as a detox drink that can help you lose weight, reduce inflammation, help with digestion, reduce bloating, and many other health benefits.
And now, the celery juice craze got crazier. One of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood, and arguably one of the more influential, Kim Kardashian, has implemented celery juice into her health regime.
Kimmy has been dealing with an ongoing psoriasis problem for quite some time, and it is getting worse and worse. After trying traditional remedies, Kim decided to try something else. She visited Anthony William, who is widely known as the Medical Medium, for a piece of advice. William is not a formally licensed healthcare professional, but he has written several books on the healing powers of certain foods. One of them is celery juice.

Healing benefits of celery juice has been explained by many nutritionists and health care professionals. Here is a quick breakdown of what you can expect:

The idea is to drink 16 ounces of pure celery juice on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning for 30 days. It is still beneficial to do for less than 30 days, and then a few times a week, but most feel a difference after flooding their bodies for 30 days with the healing herb, celery. You can follow the celery juice challenge for as long as you like. Of course, you must be sure to eat clean, nutritious meals throughout the day. After all, celery juice does not deliver all the nutrients your body needs so it should not be used as a cleanse without any other added juices or food.
To prepare the juice, wash and cut the celery into manageable pieces. Run them through a juicer, and drink a glass of celery juice in the morning. Try and drink 16 oz in the morning, or you can break it up into two 8 oz servings of celery juice. It is best to drink the celery juice alone, without lemon or anything else added to reap the full benefits. If you don't have a juicer or don't have the time to make your own celery juice, purchasing it freshly made at a juice bar might be an option, or frozen organic celery juice is a more convenient option.
For those of you that find the taste too strong, you can add one cucumber or one apple to the celery juice. Increase the ratio of celery and decrease the ratio of apples as you get used to the flavor.
