You probably know Ann Cameron from many children books.
She is one of the more famous children books authors in the United States.
She has written lots of books, many following the character of Julian, Huey, and Gloria. However, she is also the main character in an unbelievable story of a woman beating cancer.
Ann Cameron managed to beat cancer by drinking carrot juice every day.
Her story began in 2005 when she lost her husband to lung cancer. Her husband was undergoing chemotherapy, but he died nevertheless.
After her operation in June 2012, she was determined that she will not go the same route as her husband did and eager to find another way to fight the cruel disease.
In June 2012, her colon cancer entered the third stage.
She shared her story on a blog where people share their successful stories of beating cancer using alternative methods.
In June 2012, I was subjected to surgery for my colon cancer, and after that I refused chemotherapy treatment. Every day I felt better, but after six months the control studies revealed that cancer had spread to the lungs, and the colon cancer, entered the fourth stage – states Cameron starting her story.
Her inspiration was another successful story, in which a 26 years old Ralph Cole managed to beat cancer by drinking carrot juice.
Before she came across the story, Ann researched cancer disease, alternative treatments and much more.
With nothing to lose, Ann decided to try Ralph’s way and started drinking carrot juice every day. She took evenly doses of juice made out of 5 pounds of carrots.
It took only eight weeks for her to see the initial results. After the first eight weeks, Cameron took another medical study to see how her cancer is progressing.
The results showed that the cancer had stopped spreading, the swelling in the lymph glands began to shrink, the tumors began to shrink, and she was feeling much better.
But Cameron didn’t stop there. Instead, she continued to drink carrot juice, determined to get the best out of the cancer. It took her four months to get her glands back to normal.
After the four months, her cancer began to retreat. And after eight months of successful therapy with carrot juice, computed tomography scan showed no signs of cancer, the disease had completely disappeared.

Those properties have been tested on mice, and a study has shown that mice that consume carrots have 1/3 lower risk of cancer.
